I'm a UX designer who codes and makes art. With a background in human factors psychology, computer science and visual arts, I study how people think and decide, then design and build interfaces that are clear and easy to trust.

When I'm not designing, I'm chasing light with my camera, planning my next trip, or spending time as a guitarist in a band. New places and new art media each bring a brand-new experience to my life.

I really like trying out different media. A big part of the fun is not always knowing how something will turn out. Different materials can give you completely different results, so it sometimes feels a little like opening a blind box. I enjoy experimenting, making mistakes, and seeing what happens along the way. It keeps making art fun for me because there's always something new to try.

I really enjoy shooting film and developing it myself. I like how the whole process feels slower and more intentional. Since a roll only has around 36 shots, I become much more careful about what I choose to photograph. If I take a thousand digital photos, I might never look back at most of them, but with film, the time and effort I put into each roll makes every photo feel more meaningful and worth keeping.

I really like traveling, especially when I can explore without planning too much. I enjoy noticing small things like local stores, food, streets, and signs, and I usually take a lot of photos along the way. For me, traveling is more about collecting little moments than checking off famous places.

I play bass and guitar in a band. We mostly cover songs from bands we like, and every once in a while we try writing something of our own. I honestly don't understand music theory at all, but I still really enjoy playing with everyone. Being on stage together is probably my favorite part — it's just fun, a little chaotic, and always feels different from practicing alone.

Some moments I want to keep around. Seeing the northern lights, listening to bands I love, meeting small animals, and other little things that made me happy enough to take a picture.
